I had the chance to visit Hong Kong for CLEO PR on August 2018 where I presented two papers; an oral presentation and a post-deadline paper. I was quite excited to get my first post-deadline paper accepted.

I was happy to be able to attend numerous presentations by distinguished researchers and catch on the breakthroughs in my field and more. It felt like a quarter of the conference was on frequency combs, but it might be perceptual selectivity; I was attending these talks to learn about soliton propagation in resonators.
As always, I still made time to see the city and loved how green the Hong Kong is regardless of all the grayness in the central business area.
